Balloons taking off from Årsta Park
Mertha Helena Reenstierna (the actor) beside the stream running beside the house, down into the bay.
Actors playing the roles of Henrik von Schnell & Mertha Helena Reenstierna who lived in the house at the 18 and 19 century. This is at the guiding tour.
Today it was open house at the Årsta residence. There were people dressed in clothes from the 18-19 century and guides telling the history of the house and the surroundings.

She was a good friend with the famous Swedish poet and song writer Carl Michael Bellman (1740-1795). She used to arrange a harvest party every year in the woods where they were building “leaf rooms” from the trees. It was common to let off cannon shots at a party, about 200-400 shots. One year the man responsible for letting the cannon shots off were so drunk he walked right in front of the cannon when fiering. Not much left of him…
